Apostille Process
Apostille Process & Guide
Obtaining an Apostille is a crucial step when using documents internationally. California Birth Certificates, Death Certificates and Marriage Certificates must be Certified Copies from the County Recorder’s Office. A Certified Copy of your Birth Certificate must have the official seal affixed and the County Clerk’s Signature. Birth Certificates and other Vital Records issued from a Public Health Department signed by a Public Health Officer will cause delays in the Apostille Process. If you need a Special Power of Attorney, Adoption Agreements, Copies of your Passport notarized and Apostille, we can help you along the way.
Follow our Step-by-Step Guide to ensure a smooth Apostille appointment when we meet:
Step 1: Have the Certified Copy of the Birth Certificate or other documents ready when we meet.
Step 2: We’ll review the documents with the proper seals affixed and if needed we will notarize the documents that need to be notarized.
Step 3: Let us know which country that is requesting the Apostille. Examples: Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Peru, Colombia, Germany, Poland, China, Philippines.
Step 4: We will submit your documents to the Secretary of State’s Office with the proper forms for the Apostille.
Step 5: We will return your documents directly back to you ensuring a smooth and seamless Apostille process ready for international use.
